Enabling efficient scheduling of construction projects of enormous scale
The need to create and visualise utilisation schedules for hundreds of types of resources, taking into account thousands of concurrent projects
The implementation was a challenge due to the high complexity of the project requiring intensive cooperation and communication of the entire team, as well as carrying out integration with the already existing IFS system
Long-term streamlining of the production planning department
Transparency and consistency in processes and more efficient management of existing resources

Solution

Harnessing the Solr search engine to generate the total daily utilisation of individual company resources projected onto the resources of planned projects
Presentation in the form of an interactive Gantt chart and two-way integration with the company's main ERP system
Visualisation of data in a user-friendly manner, transparency of information, flexibility of the application and access to data by users at different levels, very fast reading of data after updating in the ERP system, possibility to visualise the critical path
