Source of data

The Controller obtains data directly from you when you use functionalities available on its website. Providing your data is generally voluntary; however, in some cases it is necessary for the Controller to perform specific actions, such as responding to inquiries submitted via the contact form or sending you commercial information, provided you have given your consent.

The Controller’s website uses cookies and similar technologies described in the Cookie Policy.

Purposes and legal bases for data processing

The Controller processes data to respond to questions submitted through the contact form available on the website. In this case, the legal basis for processing is the Controller’s legitimate interest in providing you with the highest standard of service.
Using the data, the Controller may carry out marketing activities related to promoting its services and presenting its offers. If you consent to receive marketing communications electronically, the Controller will use the email address you provide to send commercial offers. The legal basis for processing in this case is your voluntary consent, which you may withdraw at any time without any negative consequences.
Marketing activities may involve profiling, i.e., tailoring the content communicated to you to better suit your needs. Such profiling does not affect your rights or freedoms.

Data retention period

The retention period of your data depends on the purpose for which it is processed.
If you contacted the Controller via the contact form on the website, your data will be retained until all necessary explanations have been provided to you.
Data processed for marketing communication purposes will be retained for no longer than 3 years from the date you provided your email address. In any case, the Controller will cease contact immediately upon your withdrawal of consent.

Your data may be transferred by the Controller to other entities only when necessary for the purposes for which the data is processed. Recipients may include, for example, IT service providers, software vendors for sending commercial correspondence, and marketing agencies through which commercial communication with you may be conducted.
Entities to whom your data may be transferred provide guarantees of implementing appropriate technical and organizational measures to ensure that data processing complies with applicable regulations.

In connection with the processing of your personal data by the Controller, you have the right to:

  1. access your personal data and information about their protection,
  2. rectify your data,
  3. erase your data,
  4. restrict the processing of your data,
  5. transfer your data to another data controller.

These rights may be exercised by contacting the Controller or the appointed Data Protection Officer.

Additionally, if you have consented to receiving commercial messages by email, you have the right to withdraw this consent at any time, for example, by informing the designated Data Protection Officer via email at iod@omegacode.pl or by phone at +48 571 314 246.
Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing performed based on consent prior to its withdrawal.

If you believe that the Controller has violated the rules of processing your personal data, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office.

Right to object to data processing

Regardless of the above rights, you have the right to object to the processing of your personal data. An objection may be made if, due to your particular situation, you do not want the Controller to process your data based on its legitimate interests, for example, processing to respond to inquiries submitted via the contact form on the website.
Submitting a justified objection to processing will result in the Controller ceasing to process your data for the purpose to which the objection relates. Objections may be submitted via email to iod@omegacode.pl or by writing to the Controller’s postal address.
